I’m speechless. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai took my breath away. Though it’s not my faith, watching the golden chedi glow under the sunset sky felt profound in its own quiet way.
Just as I stepped in the temple, I slipped near a waterfall and landed on my sacrum. Shoes, socks, and skirt, soaked and muddy. Still hurting a little. Still grateful.
