Swagata Majumdar is an International Ibda'a Award recipient (awarded by Dubai Media City and His Highness of Dubai) and a British Council Alumni Award winner.

She built a remarkable career as a radio presenter, ruling the airwaves in both India and Dubai with equal finesse. For more than 20 years, she has also worked as an international voice over artiste for many popular global brands. In addition, she is a celebrity voice coach and a well known emcee.

Swagata holds two Master's degrees in Communications, one from Commits Bangalore and another from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. She is also a writer and journalist. In 2024, the British Council Alumni Awards recognised her as one of the top alumna contributors to art and culture in India.

She is the founder of Boyaam, a platform dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary performing art forms and curating shows to support emerging talent.

Swagata is also a child loss grief support advocate. She co founded India’s first online grief support platform for bereaved mothers.

Currently, she is the editor of FOUR Magazine and freelances for newspapers in Melbourne, where she lives with her husband and their two toddlers.
