Yesterday I had the chance to speak with Year 11 students from Yarrawonga College alongside Antoinette at NEMA ( North East Multicultural Association ). We shared our personal journeys of moving to Australia and what it means to find belonging in a new place.
It was wonderful to see the students so open and thoughtful about multiculturalism and community. I hope our stories encouraged them to reflect on how each of us can create more understanding and connection, wherever we live.
