I had the honour of sitting down with Neil, the president and host of Oak Fm 101.3 in Wangaratta. He is a psychologist by profession and has worked with people dealing with body dysmorphia, which brought a thoughtful and sensitive lens to our exchange. His questions came from a place of genuine care, and I truly appreciated the space we shared.
We spoke about body image, self-worth, and how to build real confidence in a world that often makes us feel we are not enough. The conversation was open, grounded, and deeply human. I hope it offers something meaningful for those who listen.
At the end, we raised our hands in the shape of the letter C. It is a gesture we use to represent confidence and change. This simple act supports the movement to help people embrace who they are without needing to change how they look or turn to surgery. A symbol shared with hope, compassion, and strength.
I am also grateful for the kind feedback from the audience. It means a lot to know this message is resonating.
Let us continue to see in order to inspire others to see within.
