How much do you want to earn in the next 12 months?

When I asked my client this question, I realized we are the ones who tend to look down on ourselves the most.

Often, we unknowingly limit our potential and underestimate our ability to achieve higher goals. By setting simple goals that are too easy, we inadvertently fuel our self-doubt.

Our fear tells us that we cannot achieve what we want and makes us not believe in ourselves. We automatically pick up the bricks and place them on our pathways to success, so we can convince ourselves they are the reasons why we couldn't get there.

When the goal is too easy, we automatically wonder around the blocks without taking our future goals seriously.

It is also essential to set the right goals, align them with our values and beliefs, and see the goal from a further distance, so we never get lost on our own journey and won't easily get distracted by unimportant things.

I love setting higher goals because even if we only reach 50% of them, we are still ahead of our old selves.

I love what Henry Ford once said: Nothing is particularly difficult when we break it down into small pieces. Setting a big goal and breaking it down into small tasks is the way to make a big goal achievable.

After the conversation, we realized that we must be the best cheerleaders for ourselves. We must have the right mindset and believe we will make it whatever it takes.
