I experienced a very different kind of education growing up in Taiwan, and I talk more about it in my upcoming book. It gave me a deeper appreciation for how the way we learn shapes who we become and how far we can grow throughout our lives and careers.
The exciting part begins when we apply what we learn. That’s when knowledge turns into insight. The feedback we get helps us see how well we’ve understood something and how our learning can make a difference for others. This experience often fuels our motivation and sparks a genuine desire to keep growing.
And if we want to take things even further, teaching is one of the most powerful ways to grow. When we teach, we’re asked to express what we know clearly. If there’s something we can’t explain easily, that usually means we’ve found a gap in our understanding. And that gap is a beautiful opportunity to go deeper and level up.
