Making every day count

Making every day count

I just finished a coaching session with my client in India. Sometimes, a simple conversation can lead to a significant breakthrough in life.

I wouldn’t say I enjoy a super busy life without having my own time, but I genuinely appreciate that I can find something I love and make it a career.

The most luxurious thing we can have is soaking into a career we love and bringing meaning to us.

When I was young, I always enjoyed writing articles about improving, learning new things, and overcoming my fears.

Writing is very natural to me. Even when I moved to Australia in 2016 at the age of 19, I kept writing in a new language without any rewards from anyone.

I love writing down what I have learned and broken through and the new perspectives I have gained on my problems.

About a year ago, I was diagnosed with severe depression. I wanted to grow the bookbinding business I built in 2016- A business in which I used everything I had to exchange. Every business detail was constructed from my heart- like my baby.

But I always felt something wasn’t right for me; I felt I was held back. I asked myself, do I really want to be in the bookbinding business for the rest of my life? Does this business bring meaning to me, or is it just because I want to learn business, so I am in it?

I started brainstorming daily, asking myself what I really want to do out of this short life—writing down all the possibilities and resources I could discover and study to find a career I truly want to invest my time in.

I went through many online courses and asked around for different careers. It took me a very long time to go through the available resources.

Finally, I found a career that fits with what I have always been doing. The most interesting thing is that I built a website in 2023 and placed all my articles and works there before I knew about this career.

I also tried to hold a function in 2023 and invite women in domestic violence; I wanted to help them get out of domestic violence and believe in themselves that they can build a new life that genuinely belongs to themselves.

On the first day of my coaching training, I felt like I was already in the industry years ago, but I didn’t have a transparent system for coaching people out of unwanted situations.

Now, it is time for me to formalise and make everything happen. I wouldn’t say I wasted my time in my bookbinding business because it prepared and trained me in business for this critical moment.

If you are looking for a career you are passionate about, but it has been a difficult journey, it can frustrate and tire you.

It is entirely normal. I know how hard it can be to find it when there are so many resources and options on the market. The story I shared and the brainstorming method will be helpful to you.

Always write down what's possible for the future and test each idea to discover the possibilities.
