Mistakes Are Allowed

Mistakes Are Allowed

It’s okay to say the wrong thing. It’s okay to do the wrong thing. Everyone deserves a chance to grow and improve.

Allowing others to make mistakes is like saying, “You’re safe with me.” Safe to try, to explore, to be creative. If you weren’t allowed to be creative growing up, maybe now is your time, to rediscover that childlike part of you, the purest version of you, who felt free before rules and pressure took over.

Letting people make mistakes doesn’t mean we abandon boundaries or ignore responsibility. It means we can laugh out loud, try new things, and be bold, as long as we don’t intentionally cause harm.

To make space for creativity, we have to practice forgiveness. No one is perfect. Sometimes we say things that hurt the people we love, not because we mean to, but because we’re human. And just as we hope others will understand us in those moments, we can learn to offer the same grace in return.

Feel free to share this with someone who might need the reminder.
