Around half of Australian high school students are affected by poor body image. According to the Butterfly Foundation, it is leading to lower grades, reduced classroom participation, and higher truancy rates. Most parents have no idea it is happening until it is already affecting their child's whole life.

It is not laziness. It is not a phase.

If your child has been making excuses to skip gym class, avoid swimming carnivals, or hide in oversized clothes, something deeper is going on.

It is about how they see their body. And societal appearance standards, peer pressure, and social media are making young people feel like they need to hide. Most of them do not have the words to tell you that yet.

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of speaking with students from Cathedral College Wangaratta. The teachers shared something that stayed with me.

Students are skipping gym classes because of how they feel about their bodies. Not one or two students. Many of them. Quietly. Every week.

That conversation is exactly why I created this masterclass for you.

Here is what you will walk away with

What body image concerns actually look like In plain language, no jargon. How to spot the signs in your child before they become bigger problems.
Why telling your child they are beautiful is not enough And what actually works instead. One shift that changes everything.
One simple conversation you can have this week To open the door without pressure, without it feeling awkward, and without your child shutting down.
How your own relationship with your body shapes theirs More than you know. This one will surprise you.
"An important message in a world where we are all bombarded with images of what beauty should be. Your message that beauty is not a universal truth but comes from within is a timely reminder that we are not defined by what others say, rather by the way we see ourselves."

Chi Chi grew up in Taiwan where she was told her features were wrong. Her hair was too curly. Her teeth were too big. Her lips were too full. Those words chipped away at her confidence for years.

At 19 she moved to Australia alone with just $3,000. Immersing herself in different cultures opened her eyes to something life changing. Beauty was not a universal truth. It was a story someone else told her.

That realisation became the foundation of her book From Ugly to Beautiful Without Surgery and her mission through C.C.Within: that every person deserves to feel confident in their own skin, without surgery and without needing to fit anyone else's mould.
