Chi Chi's story

First of all, I would like to introduce myself as a Taiwanese who travelled to Australia many years ago when I was 19, without friends and family and just $3000AUD in my pocket.

People always love to describe me as a brave lady. Yes, I enjoy discovering the unknown and different aspects of myself from the unknown.

My bravery was not born within me; my bravery came from my dysfunctional family and the fact I was not well accepted in my schools in Taiwan.

I experienced so much pain at a young age with my low self-esteem that I felt nothing could be more painful. Travelling to a different country gave me a sense of freedom.

I am a writer. I love writing articles and sharing my journey of growing and learning. I enjoy overcoming fears and doubts in life. Most of my articles are based on my personal experience. My story is practical and honest, and my goal is to share the lessons I have learnt so you can live your best life on your terms by being part of the C.C. Within community.

I am a professionally trained coach. I coach through my articles, group coaching, and one-on-one coaching. Coaching is about allowing clients to discover their best selves through shifting thinking.

If you are reading this now, you must have read one of my articles, which has changed your thinking at some point.

You may question why I have family violence as a subject on my platform.

Yes, that was my experience, I grew up in an abusive family. Because I care, so I share.

The influence I had as a child in family violence makes me think, if I couldn't change my past, what could I do now to change the future for the people experiencing the same situation?

Thanks to an organization in America, I still remember the first time I shared my childhood story on Facebook. It was seen and shared by an organization in America. Many people related to it; one of the ladies mentioned how the article hit her deeply and gave her more strength to leave her partner.

It gave me meaning for what I do.

My small act may not make a significant difference in this world, but I genuinely hope I can offer something to you that at least makes your life a little bit better than before.
